Winter Activities

During winter, Haute-Nendaz offers an unique and exceptional ski area of 412 km in the 4 Valleés surrounded by a marvellous high mountain scenery. The village lies at 1400m and skiing down into the village is guaranteed all winter long. From Haute-Nendaz you take the gondola that brings you up to Tracouet. Here you can enjoy the smaller ski area of  ‘Printse’ with 220km of blue and red slopes. The frozen lake with its ‘magic carpet-lift’ offers a great area for your little ones to safely try out a first skiing experience. However, for the intermediate and advanced skiers that want to extend their skiing to the more challenging slopes of the 4 Valleys ski area, it is possible to ski up towards the cable car of the short black run Plan-du-Fou leading to Siviez. From there you can go all the way up to the luxury resort of Verbier and the Mont-Fort glacier at 3300m. Also for the non-skiers it is lovely to go up to Tracouet and enjoy a break at the restaurant with panoramic views or take the free buss to Siviez that offers several bars and restaurants. For the ice-skaters, the village also offers its own ice-rink.
